Temple..

It is ridiculously late, and I can't sleep.  I have been up every night for *at least a week* until about 4 a.m.  I don't know if it is from stress or if it is insomnia?  I had the opportunity to go to the temple tonight for our ward temple cleaning assignment.  We started at about 10:00 p.m.  I have never felt so blessed and fortunate to clean!  What a special experience it was to serve tonight.  There is nothing like windexing the mirrors in the bride's room (which is gorgeous) or cleaning the temple president's office.  There were about 20 of us, and we cleaned for 2 hours.  There were these 3 adorable elderly women who came, and basically vacuumed the whole time.  I don't know about you guys, but seriously, vacuuming is hard work.  I admire their dedication to serving!  There is such an amazing peace in the temple and if I had to, I probably would have cleaned ever tile with a toothbrush and still would have been grinning. :)

My usb ports were not working on my laptop so I couldn't upload any pictures off my camera. . . but I got a new laptop from/for school so now I don't have that problem anymore.  I got a mac and I'm still getting used to it, but so far I like it.

I took Mady into the Dr. this morning & she saw Mark the P.A. (he seems to be the only person in that office that cares) and Mady has an ear infection and chest cold. I'm so sad that she is sad :(

So we open the windows at night to cool down the house, keep the energy bill down. anyways. When I went to Malta, where Kendall lived when he was little, there was a cow feed there. gross. That is what it smells like outside right now. barf. now my house smells like cow slash poo.

Just..you know..complaining ...

I have basically been sick for a month and a half, including when I went to Alaska...I was starting to recover from bronchitis when we left for Alaska, but I had allergies so bad there that my eyes were red and swollen for 4 days. Then I got a bacterial infection in my eye last week. Kendall was calling me quasi modo and told me to get back in my bell tower because my eye was so swollen. NOW I have strep throat. More antibiotics. GREAT. Kendall is getting sick too, and Mady isn't looking to promising. A few people at kendall's work also have strep, so if you live around here, it's apparently going around. I get plenty of sleep, eat my veggies, drink my o.j., I even wipe the shopping cart with the disinfectant when I go to the store. grr. I just hope I'm better for school to start!

We went to Kendall's work's company party at Heise Hot Springs.. and had some great food then got to go swimming, and go on the 350 ft water slide.. it was so much fun and Mady was so good!

I think we might be in trouble....

Mady has figured out how to get from sitting to this position to reach things...now the worrying begins! We've been working on child proofing..but ...

We're back in Idaho.. :( but happy to be 'home'. The flight home was uneventful, Mady slept like an angel. We were delayed in Boise for about an hour because of a mechanical problem, and there was a lot of turbulence, a guy in front of us was holding a cup of water and the altitude dropped so fast his water sort of hovered for a second then splashed on the roof. Two weeks went by so fast...
